Aya Sushi is a great place for for first and last dates. I have stood up multiple men and women at this location. Nothing soothes the broken heart better than great sushi. If I were to be let down by a romantic interest, this is where I would want to be destroyed. Great service, clean, and delicious. Thank you Aya.
Delicious food and very kind staff and beautiful restaurant! The food is delicious as well as visually appealing. Dinging 1 point because an item was missing from my pick up order and they said they’re unable to refund the item, and that they’d have to refund the entire order. They did offer a free replacement the next time I order, but I’m visiting from out of town so I would suggest they acquire a POS system that is able to accommodate such needs.
I loved every roll but especially enjoyed the fresh Wasabi that ones with the sashimi. Utterly incredible. Try the tuna tataki, nude on the beach and either of the sashimi plates. Oh and the plum wine.
My husband and I went to Aya Sushi for an impromptu date night and had a great experience! The staff was friendly and patient while we took our time reading the menu, the food was delicious, and the prices were very reasonable for what we ordered, which was: Volcano Roll – Good overall, but the baby scallops were a bit off-putting in texture. Calamari Roll – My husband liked it, though I found the calamari too chewy. Nude on the Beach – Phenomenal. No notes, just perfect. The dining space was comfortable, but I did notice that the bathroom had some damage to the ceiling panels and what looked like spitballs on the wall, which took away a bit from the overall impression.
The sushi rolls are excellent, especially the special rolls, which are presented delicately and attractively, with delicious flavors. The restaurant has a distinctly Japanese and sophisticated ambiance. The service quality is decent, and the food is served quickly.
This is our go-to sushi spot! We've been here several times now, and the food is consistently delicious. The quality of the fish is amazing, especially considering the price point. Plus, the staff are always incredibly nice, and you can really tell the sushi chefs are truly talented. Highly, highly recommend
It was our first time here, my husband and I have always loved sushi and we go often. This was a good hidden gem, we love hole in the wall restaurants. Hopefully we’ll be back before we leave the state. Wish we could have gone here sooner.
Great spot for a chill date night! We sat at the bar and the two sushi chefs made our night. They were so insanely busy and it was truly amazing to see how hard and fast they worked to put out beautiful rolls every time. Who knew the best sushi chefs in town aren’t Japanese! They were so nice and made sure we were happy with our order. We will definitely come back again because of them. Jack in the box roll is still my favorite! Ate it too fast to get a photo :)
